- 3 consecutive week, 2.5 day classroom format.
- Classroom times: 10am-5.30pm 2 teaching weeks. 11am-12.30pm for exam week
- Try 25+ tasting samples, including Champagne, fine wines from Bordeaux & Burgundy as well as tastings of those from the Loire, Alsace, Rhône & Languedoc-Roussillon
- Student textbook, 12 month access to WSG eLearning modules & First attempt at paper based exam included

Course Contents
- Week 1: Introduction, sparkling wines of France, northern France (Alsace & Loire)
- Week 2: Central & southern France (Burgundy, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, the Rhône, Provence & Languedoc-Roussillon)
- Week 3: Exam: 45 Minute, 50 multiple choice question paper
No previous experience or knowledge is necessary. However, in addition to the classroom sessions, it is also recommended you do at least 10-13 hours of private study on top, to ensure you perform well in the exam & get the most out of the course.
The exam consists of a 50 multiple choice question paper, to be completed in 45 minutes. A score of 60% or higher (30+ questions correct) is required to pass the qualification. It covers topics like French wine regions, grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and the cultural and historical context of French wine.

The Castlefield Hotel Manchester
The Castlefield Hotel is located next to the Castlefield Bowl Arena, a short walk from Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink and rail station. We are normally in the Bridgewater Suite, which is to the right of reception.
