This course is great if you’re interested in the historic national beverage of Japan: Whether for your career or just curious. A gentle, but thorough introduction to the world of Sake. No prior knowledge or qualifications are required.
Description
This is a 1.5 hour classroom course. Class times: 7pm-8.30pm
This is suitable for beginners looking to learn a bit more about Sake. A gentle introduction, covering Japanese history & culture, how Sake is made and a guided tasting of 5 premium samples of different styles. All led by a Certified Sake Sommelier.
There is no exam to worry about, so you can relax and enjoy the tasting. Participants will receive a personalised commemorative certificate of attendance from the Sake Sommelier Association.

The Castlefield Hotel is located next to the Castlefield Bowl Arena, a short walk from Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink and rail station. We are normally in the Bridgewater Suite, which is to the right of reception.
