We’ll cover a brief history, how they’re made and the differences between producing countries’ approaches and the effect on style, quality & price. You’ll taste a mix of unaged and premium aged examples from a variety of locations.

Sip through six specially selected rums from across the Caribbean & South America, guided by our friendly spirits aficionados. Samples will include white rums, dark rums and fine aged rums showcasing the best expressions of their country & distillery’s unique styles.

Location
Malmaison Manchester Piccadilly
Centrally & conveniently located a 5 minute stroll just across the street from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Our events are normally held in Work & Play Room 3, just turn right past reception.
Friday evening events
These run from 7-9pm. Please arrive just before at 6.50pm, so that we can have everyone seated ready to begin promptly.
Saturday events
These run from 2-4pm. Please arrive just before at 1.50pm, so that we can have everyone seated ready to begin promptly.
