Indulge in an afternoon tea featuring a selection of savoury and sweet treats, alongside a guided tasting of six different types of sparkling wine from around the world led by one of our friendly, impartial qualified wine experts. Featuring Champagne and other fizz produced around the world such as Prosecco, Franciacorta, English sparkling wine, Cap Classique, Sekt or Crémant. You’ll be sure to find a new favourite! We don’t sell wine, so you can get the low down on where to buy the best value wines.

Guests also get a booklet of tasting notes to take home as a memento of the day. The Malmaison’s stylish Ember Lounge is the perfect setting for this wine discovery session – you’ll meet some lovely people, eat some fantastic food, taste some amazing wines and have a great afternoon.

The Ember Lounge, Malmaison Hotel Manchester Piccadilly

Centrally & conveniently located a 5 minute stroll just across the street from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Our lunch and steak events are normally held in the Ember Lounge. Turn left at reception and the restaurant staff will direct you.
