Steak and red wine tasting evening. Six mouth-watering rich, fine red wines plus a juicy dry aged rump steak dinner followed by a decadent cheeseboard. 7-9pm on Fridays.
This steak and red wine tasting experience features a 220g dry aged, josper grilled-to-perfection juicy flat iron steak from the kitchens of the renowned Malmaison hotel in central Manchester. (Served with confit tomato, watercress and pommes frites.) It also features six of the best – six really very good red wines from around the world, specially selected by our wine expert to pair with and enhance the flavour of a great steak.
We round the Steak and Red Wine Tating evening off with a cheese board of seasonal favourites and you also get a booklet to take home so you can find the wines you tasted as we don’t sell wine ourselves. The Malmaison’s stylish Ember Lounge is the perfect setting for this wine discovery session – you’ll meet some lovely people, eat some fantastic food, taste some amazing wines and have a great evening.

Centrally & conveniently located a 5 minute stroll just across the street from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Our lunch and steak events are normally held in the Ember Lounge. Turn left at reception and the restaurant staff will direct you.
