This 1 day course is great if you’re new to Sake, whether for your career or if you’re just interested.

Description

Classroom times: 10am-5.30pm.

Your student workbook will be provided at the start of the day. The course ends in an exam which must be taken in person in Manchester. It is a 30 question multiple-choice exam and you must score 70% (21/30) or above to pass. Those who pass will get a digital certificate, which you can print or share a direct link to with employers.

Funding for this course

DEVELOP is the newly launched educational programme of The Drinks Trust, the drinks and hospitality industry charity. DEVELOP offers fully funded training and skills courses, delivered by industry-leading providers for people already working, or with an ambition to work, in the drinks and hospitality industry. Northern Wine School has partnered with The Drinks Trust to bring courses free of charge to eligible students.

An application and approval must be made with the Drinks Trust directly. We cannot register candidates for courses and apply for funding retrospectively, sorry.

  • Must be 18 or over
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Working in, or aspire to work in Hospitality
  • Have a National Insurance Number, and be earning less than £26k/pa

The Castlefield Hotel Manchester

The Castlefield Hotel is located next to the Castlefield Bowl Arena, a short walk from Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink and rail station. We are normally in the Bridgewater Suite, which is to the right of reception.
