The WSET Level 1 Wines Online Course is four-weeks long, with multiple start dates and is taught via the WSET Digital Classroom. It’s the same syllabus as the classroom course and you are given weekly activities, but it is modular and self guided with no live classes, you can study at your own pace.
You are provided with a PDF download copy of the WSET Level 1 Wines Online Course student workbook from the online classroom and a list of recommended wine tasting samples to source yourself.
You will also have access to our help and support, plus use of our online study guide to help you revise. The exam is done online and booked when you are ready. Those who pass will get a digital certificate, which you can print or share a direct link to with employers.
Please note that tasting samples are not provided for this version of the WSET Level 1 Wines Online Course. You will need to source these yourself. Alternatively, this course can be booked including samples here.
DEVELOP is the newly launched educational programme of The Drinks Trust, the drinks and hospitality industry charity. DEVELOP offers fully funded training and skills courses, delivered by industry-leading providers for people already working, or with an ambition to work, in the drinks and hospitality industry. Northern Wine School has partnered with The Drinks Trust to bring courses free of charge to eligible students.
