Our Quiet & Private Space is on the 4th Floor of a Grade II Listed Building, Full of Original Character Features & with Ample Natural Lighting.

Meetings, events, training, conferences, parties… Whatever your needs may be, we can adapt the space and timings to suit your requirements. We can also add one of our popular tastings as part of the day too, either during or after your event. They make popular ice breakers, networking & reward events for staff & clients.

Our bright & spacious location on Portland Street inside a Grade II listed former Victorian warehouse is full of character with exposed wooden beams and brickwork is guaranteed to impress.

Available for wine, spirit & sake industry tastings or workshops, ‘walk-around’ importer, wholesaler & retailer showcases, trade events and product spotlights.

We are conveniently located near major transport hubs of Manchester; St Peter’s Square tram exchangeManchester Piccadilly & Oxford Road train stations are all within a 10 minute walk.

We can cater for up to 45 people for a standing networking event, or up to 30 seated. We can easily arrange tables in boardroom, classroom, theatre, cabaret or U-Shaped formats.

We’ve hosted everything from board meetings and client presentations, seminars, workshops, training and walk round networking events to Japanese maid cafe’s!

Need a bigger venue and want us to host one of our tasting events? We work with partner locations in central Manchester who can host bigger groups of people for larger functions.

The Space

We have one, open plan room of around 900sqft (83m²) which is very flexible, and can be configured in a variety of formats: classroom, cabaret, u-shape or theatre style seating. We can host up to 40 for a standing networking event, or 28 seated at tables. Contact us to discuss your exact requirements.

It is spacious, private and located on the 4th floor away from most street level noise. There is ample natural light too.

Pricing

Prices start from £125 +VAT per hour, from £285 +VAT half day & from £475 +VAT for a full day. All prices include a projector/screen & whiteboard/flipchart use. ISO tasting glasses and spittoons can be hired on request for a small fee.

Tea, coffee, biscuits & pastries are available from £5 +VAT per person per serving. We can also supply cheese and charcuterie boards or sandwich buffet platters from £16.50 +VAT per person (for a minimum price of 10 delegates).

Need more substantial food? We’re happy to work with external caterers or you can bring your own. (Subject to an additional cleaning/disposal fee for larger events of more than 10 people).

Why not add one of our popular wine, spirits, Sake or beer tastings on as a team building activity? The make a great way to reward your employees for a hard day’s work, or are a fantastic & memorable event for your clients. Prices start from £40pp+VAT for these.
